Meet the Owner & Administrator – Sara (Horgan) Rogers 

As a Stevens Point native resident and licensed social worker, I have dedicated my 30+ year career to supporting individuals and families during some of life's most difficult moments. For the past 12 years, I worked as a hospice discharge planner within one of our local hospital systems, helping patients and their loved ones navigate the transition from hospital care to hospice and end-of-life services.

During that time, it became increasingly clear that many families were searching for something more personal than a traditional facility—a peaceful, home-like setting where their loved one could receive compassionate care with dignity, comfort, and individualized attention. Unfortunately, the Stevens Point area had very limited options that offered the warmth and intimacy of a true hospice home.

That experience inspired me to create this home.

As the Owner and Administrator of our licensed 4-bed Adult Family Home, my mission for Circle of Life Residence is to provide the kind of environment I saw so many families seeking throughout my years in healthcare. By intentionally keeping our home small, we are able to build meaningful relationships with each resident and their loved ones while providing personalized, compassionate care that honors each person's wishes and unique journey.

Opening this home has given me the opportunity to give back to the community that raised me. It is an honor to serve local families by offering a peaceful place where residents are treated with dignity, respect, and kindness, and where loved ones can find comfort knowing their family member is receiving exceptional, heartfelt care.
